What is covered:
This two-day event will focus on polymer and bio-polymer characterization using SEC-MALS, FFF-MALS, online Viscometry online DLS, and co-polymer analysis.
On day one static light scattering and online viscometry, molar mass, radius, co-polymer, conformation and branching characterization are the main focus of the presentations. In addition, applications such as lignin, polysaccharide, synthetic polymer, polymers for drug delivery are discussed. You have the opportunity to meet and interact with other polymer scientists who utilize Wyatt light scattering instruments.
On the second day, you will gain some deeper insight into the ASTRA software, topics such as system setup, LC integration, evaluation of experiments and troubleshooting are discussed. In the training also advanced topics such as co-polymer analysis, online DLS setup and FFF method development are discussed. You are free to pick up some tips and tricks on method development and spend some quality time with the Wyatt staff. On request we also offer training on composition-gradient, multi-angle static light scattering (CG-MALS) or a demonstration of our CALYPSO® with Dr. Dan Some, expert on CG-MALS and developer of the CALYPSO®.
Who should attend:
The event is addressed to scientists who are interested in separation and characterization of polymers and biopolymers, theory and practice of measuring absolute molar masses, polydispersity, molecular size / shape and branching of polymers in solution.
The event is free-of-charge and with limited seating. Meals and drinks during the program are included. You can join the full event or only individual parts of the program.
